The suspension bridge over Höll canyon in Untertal valley near Schladming is closed at the moment due to overhauling and repair works.
By decision of the municipal council of Schladming a change in parking fees is in effect in Untertal, starting with summer 2017. Also new: a user fee for the alpine trail "Höllschlucht".
Hiking season 2016 is over and thus the alpine trail through Höll gorge is closed for security reasons. The municipality of Schladming, the tourist office and the landowners thank for the numerous visits and are looking forward to the opening next spring and your visit next summer season!
2016 saw the 8th edition of the Wild Waters Run - organised by Laufclub Schladming.
10 years ago, on 29. June 2006, the centerpiece of the theme trail Wild Waters was officially opened for the public: the alpine trail through "Höll" gorge.
The theme trail Wild Waters and the water trails Wild Waters are ready for the summer. The huts and mountain inns are already open and in spring the creeks and waterfalls overflow with snowmelt and are especially impressive.
The Wild Waters Run is a running competition along the theme trail of Wild Waters, starting in Schladming and finishing at Gfölleralm chalet near Riesachsee Lake.
Wild Waters in Rohrmoos near Schladming has now become Wild Waters Level 2. The brand of the water and hiking experience Wild Waters is extended to include the Obertal valley, which is now also present in the new 24 page magazine.
The alpine trail "durch die Höll" (through hell) is open for the 2015 season from 12th May 2015.
The water trails of Wild Waters are awarded a TOP POI ranking for 2014. Wild Waters again is ranked as one of the top point of interests in the alpine region.
