Duisitzkarseehütte is a popular meeting point for hikers and nature lovers. The ascent to the hut is worthwhile under any weather conditions.

From the terrace you enjoy a great view over Lake Duisitzkar and the summits of the surrounding Schladminger Tauern mountain range. To enjoy nature around Lake Duisitzkar we recommend to take a walk around the lake, where you probably will meet some ponys and rabbits.

Spend and enjoy your summer in the Duisitzkar cirque with your kids - there is a lot to explore. Fill up your batteries for the next tour and savour the traditional food and home-made pastries. Duisitzkarseehütte is an alpine hut that offers communal bunks for up to 15 people.
