Maintenance works Alpine Trail Höll

The Alpine Trail Höll is closed at the moment due to maintenance works that are starting on Monday, 28.05.2018. Current assessment is, that works should be finished by beginning of July. Until then, there is noparking fee on the public parking lots in Untertal.

Due to the maintenance works there is a constraint regarding the trails on-site. The Alpine Trail Höll is closed during the entire time of maintenance. This includes the detour trail errected last year.

The trail from Seeleiten car-park to the upper Riesach Waterfall is not affected, and can be used regularly. From there you simply change to the forest lane that takes you further up to Riesachsee Lake and the inns at the lake.

To recap: the following trail is closed:

• Alpine Trail Höll: trail beyond the upper Riesach Waterfall ending below Gfölleralm inn.

To recap: the following trails are not affected and open:

• Route from Seeleiten car-park to upper Riesach Waterfall via trail or via forest lane.
  
• Route from upper Riesach Waterfall to Riesachsee Lake and the alps and mountain taverns via forest lane
• "Große Riesach-Wasserfall-Runde" trail
• "Kleine Riesach-Wasserfall-Runde" trail
• the entire theme trail Wild Waters between Schladming and the upper Riesach Waterfall
  

Questions about the maintenance works at the Alpine Trail or the parking fees are best directed to the citizens' centre at the town-hall of Schladming (+43 3687 22 508-0 or gemeinde@schladming.at).

The trail was first opened in October 2005. After more than 12 years of operation in exposed terrain some larger maintenance work is necessary. The municipality of Schladming is the operator of the trail and the landmark bridge is keen to re-open the bridge as soon as possible.
