Alpine Trail Höll reopened

Detour trail for the Alpine Trail Höll - Wild Waterszoom

Most of the restoration works at Alpine Trail Höll were finished on 5. July 2018. The trail between Riesach Waterfall and Gfölleralm therefore is open again.

Following substantial repairs and improvements the Alpine Trail Höll is open to the public from 6. July 2018. The trail is accessible via the detour trail that was errected last year due to the maintenance works concerning the suspension bridge.

The reconstruction of the suspension bridge over Höll gorge will take some more time, as there are supply difficulties for the required stell ropes. Another 3 weeks are estimated in this respect. Therefore the suspension bridge remains closed. As soon as it opens there will be a corresponding information on this website.

Apart from the suspension bridge now the entire Alpine Trail Höll is accessible again, while the hike from Seeleiten parking area to the Upper Riesach Waterfall was always open to the public anway.

As of now you can hike along Höll gorge to Riesachsee Lake and enjoy the impressive natural scenery along the Riesachbach creek.
