Kaltenbachalm is a mountain restaurant located at the Eastern shore of Lake Riesach. Host Matthias serves regional specialities made from produce of the own farm.

The hut is accessible from Seeleiten carpark in the Untertal valley. Via the alpine trail through "Höll" canyon you pass the Riesach waterfalls to reach Lake Riesach.

Once at the lake you walk for another 10 minutes to reach Kaltenbachalm, from where you enjoy the view over the lake from the sunny terrace while savouring the delicacies of the huts cuisine.
