The hiking bus in Schladming

In Schladming your car is on holiday too. The hiking buses take you to the starting points for the most scenic and beautiful hikes.

Local traffic between the Rathausplatz bus station in Schladming, the cable-car to Hochwurzen and the village of Untertal run as often as 15 times per day. Also, the bus lines to the respective valley heads of Obertal, Untertal and Preuneggtal run several times a day:

• Route n° 972: Preuneggtal - Ursprungalm
• Route n° 973: Obertal - Eschachalm
• Route n° 974: Untertal - Seeleiten car parking & Riesach Waterfalls

The buses are also part of Verbundlinie Steiermark (the network of buses within the federal state of Styria operated by RegioBus Steiermark) and can be used with a valid ticket of Verbundlinie.

The buses into the Tauern valleys mentioned above also connect to the following routes of Verbundlinie:

• Route n° 900: to Haus im Ennstal and Gröbming
• Route n° 902: to Mandling and Radstadt
• Route n° 960: to Ramsau am Dachstein and the Dachstein glacier cable-car (operated by Ramsauer Verkehrsbetriebe)
• Route n° 976: to Haus im Ennstal, Weißenbach, Aich and Steirischer Bodensee
