Alpine huts

A nice hike is only complete with a stop at a alpine hut where the host knows a good story to tell.

In the valleys Obertal and Untertal there are serveral short and long hikes to mountain lakes in one of the worlds's regions that is most abounding in water. At picturesque Duisitzkar lake, the legendary Riesach lake, the Giglach lakes (at almost 2,000 m altitude) or one of the countless other lakes: a cosy hut with delicious regional foods is just around the corner.
